Air Dolomiti renews its environmental, safety and quality certifications
Air Dolomiti, the airline of the Lufthansa Group, confirms its commitment to quality of service, environmental protection and information security, announcing the renewal of the main international certifications and registrations that govern its activities.
The company has obtained from the EMAS Italy Section of the Ecolabel Committee - Ecoaudit the renewal with extension of the EMAS registration, valid until 9 November 2026. The EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) system is a voluntary instrument of the European Union that certifies the continuous improvement of environmental performance, ensuring transparency, regulatory compliance and control of environmental impacts.
In 2021, Air Dolomiti was the first Italian passenger airline to obtain EMAS registration. A path that continues today thanks to the adoption of structured environmental processes, the reduction of risks to the environment and the constant development of internal technical-scientific skills.
In addition to EMAS, Air Dolomiti has also confirmed the ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment) and ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security) certifications, issued by DNV, one of the world's leading certification bodies. The renewal attests to the effectiveness of the management systems adopted and the continuous focus on passenger satisfaction, the reduction of environmental impact and data protection.
As stated by Steffen Harbarth, CEO of Air Dolomiti. "Operating according to recognized international standards means offering passengers and partners high levels of quality, reliability and safety, while contributing to environmental protection."
For passengers, these awards translate into greater operational reliability, attention to sustainable mobility and protection of personal data, strengthening Air Dolomiti's position as a responsible operator in a highly regulated and constantly evolving sector.
