The new Starbucks store opens at Schiphol
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol welcomes a new Starbucks concept store, created by Avolta in collaboration with the American company and the Dutch hub. The location, with about 500 m², is destined to become one of the most popular Starbucks points in Europe, relaunching the historic commercial in which the first store in the Netherlands opened in 2007.
The design, inspired by the iconic Amsterdam Roastery, features local elements: a half-moon bar, copper panels and works by Dutch artists. A welcoming atmosphere that wants to offer travelers a real "feeling of place".
Among the services, the prestigious Mastrena coffee machines and a selection of fresh foods inspired by the local gastronomic tradition stand out: gourmet croissants, stuffed focaccia and hot sandwiches.
The opening marks the next step in the renovation project of Lounge 1 at Schiphol, which began with the opening of venues such as Salon & Deli and LOAF.
The common goal is to transform the airport experience, integrating quality food and beverage suitable for frequent flyers, adding comfort and authenticity.
For Schiphol, the reopening has historic value and testifies to the evolution of the offer for travellers, in line with the concept of a modern lounge: more quality, style and relaxation in transit.
