Eataly Collection at Milan Linate

A new food & retail format by Eataly and Avolta brings the best of Made in Italy to the departures area

Milan Linate Airport expands its offer dedicated to passengers with the opening of the Eataly Collection, the new food & beverage and retail concept developed by Eataly for Avolta. The project introduces an experience designed for the contemporary traveler at the airport, combining gastronomic quality, speed of service and the possibility of purchasing in a single space.

More than just a point of sale, Eataly Collection interprets the hybrid model, overcoming the traditional separation between bar and shop. Passengers can discover, taste and buy products selected for quality, origin and representativeness of the different Italian regions, transforming the stop at the airport into an authentic moment of discovery of taste.

The new space, which covers 265 square meters, houses a market where the best of Eataly's offer is located, with a particular focus on the Eataly Icons line: pasta, sauces, coffee, chocolate – with a pick & mix area – as well as refrigerators dedicated to fresh fruit juices and extracts, sandwiches, cheeses, cold cuts, yogurt and a complete assortment of savoury grocery, which includes extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, wine, regional biscuits and gluten-free products. The proposal is enriched by carefully selected premium references

Next to the market, the format includes a cafeteria, ideal for a break before the flight with Eataly coffee, and a counter dedicated to regional specialties, where it is possible to compose focaccia stuffed at the moment with high quality ingredients. There is also an area designed for the aperitif, with wines, cocktails and platters that reinterpret one of the most iconic rituals of the Italian lifestyle, adapting it to the times and needs of travel.

The contemporary design and the use of refined materials reflect the ambition of the project: to elevate the airport experience and make the stopover at Milan Linate airport a moment of pleasure, in line with the excellence of Made in Italy. The opening represents a strategic step in the growth of Eataly and Avolta, confirming the desire to bring quality Italian food and wine to the main international hubs, with an offer deeply linked to the territory.
