KFC lands at Milan Bergamo Airport
One bite and you fly. Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), the famous global fried chicken brand, has opened a new restaurant inside Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY), consolidating its presence in the travel channel and strengthening its network in Italy. After the success of the Rome Fiumicino store, the opening in Bergamo represents a new milestone for the brand, which today has 126 restaurants in the country and an annual turnover of 179 million euros in 2024.
Located in via Aeroporto 13, in the arrivals area of the buses and motorways and a few steps from exit no. 1 of the terminal, the new KFC restaurant in Bergamo stands out for its strategic position, easily accessible from the Oriocenter shopping center. With a 200 sqm indoor room and a 100 sqm outdoor area, it offers 100 seats in a cozy, modern and functional environment - perfect for a tasty break before flying or immediately after landing.
The restaurant, franchised by Original Bucket, has created 25 new jobs and offers an omnichannel experience, allowing you to order at the checkout, through digital kiosks or with the KFC Italia App thanks to the "Click & Collect" service. Open every day from 5.30 am to 10.30 pm, it also includes a Café area, ideal for a quick break or an after-dinner drink before your flight.
On the menu there is no shortage of the most popular proposals: from Hot Wings to Tenders, up to the legendary Fried Chicken Buckets and the new Veggie options based on vegetable proteins, designed for an increasingly attentive and varied audience. The offer is completed by a range of desserts such as the Deluxe Sundae with Nutella, Kit Kat or Pistachio Galak, and the Free Refill formula for drinks.
