CONNECTIONS FOR THE 2023/24 WINTER SEASON      
From Milan Bergamo Airport flights leave for 121 destinations in 39 countries
The schedule for winter flights from Milan Bergamo Airport offers a wide range of destinations, with 121 national and international connections. A travel proposal that reflects the confidence placed by airlines (17 operating scheduled flights from Milan Bergamo) in the Winter 2023/24 season and in line with the ongoing trend of recovery in air traffic.
 
Among the new additions for the winter season is the connection to Tromsø in Norway, operated from January 2024 with 2 weekly flights by Norwegian Air Shuttle. The partnership with Ryanair is also strengthened, including, for the new season, 93 connections with 7 new international routes to Belfast, Rovaniemi, Kaunas, Lublin, Iasi, Cluj, and Tirana. With the opening of the new flight to Belgrade, the routes operated by Wizz Air increase to 10, establishing itself as the second airline in terms of the number of destinations served and the number of passengers transported at the airport.
 
Confirmed for the entire winter season are the connections with the United Arab Emirates operated in codeshare by Flydubai and Emirates Airlines, with a daily flight to Dubai, and by Air Arabia UAE, which continues to connect Sharjah with 4 weekly frequencies.

The only direct flight between Italy and Tbilisi is operated twice a week, every Tuesday and Friday, using a Boeing 737-700 configured with 12 seats in business class and 121 in economy.

Norwegian Air Shuttle has announced the opening of three new connections from Milan Bergamo Airport, scheduled for the summer 2024. The Scandinavian airline, which will start flights to Tromsø from 16 January and will resume since 28th March those already operated in the last summer with Oslo and Bergen, will inaugurate on March 31st the route between Milan Bergamo and Copenhagen, scheduling four weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday). From May 18, 2024, Norwegian Air Shuttle will fly to Stavanger, in southwestern Norway, on Wednesdays and Saturdays until September 30th of following year. In addition, starting from 2 June 2024 Norwegian Air Shuttle’s will connect Milan Bergamo Airport to Helsinki, offering three weekly service (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday).

NEW SCHEDULED FLIGHT TO BELGRADE
Milan Bergamo Airport welcomed the arrival of the first scheduled flight from Belgrade, operated by Wizz Air with an Airbus A321 seating 230 passengers. Serbia now joins the countries connected with a direct flight, operating with a frequency of five days a week.
 
With the opening of the Belgrade connection, the routes operated at Milan Bergamo Airport by Wizz Air increase to 9, solidifying its position as the second airline in terms of the number of destinations served and the number of passengers transported at the airport.
