Cantieri di Pisa at the Cannes Yachting Festival
For the second year in a row, Cantieri di Pisa participates in the Cannes Yachting Festival (9-14 September 2025) under the leadership of CEO Marco Massabò, who since 2021 has embarked on a path of strong renewal (founded in 1945, Cantieri di Pisa represents one of the historic realities of Italian luxury yachting).
In recent years, the shipyard has expanded and modernized its headquarters, developed a range divided into three lines (Polaris, Saturno and Akhir) and started the construction of a 40-meter full custom yacht. At the same time, the refit division completed more than 30 projects in 2025 alone, with a total length of more than 1,500 meters, further consolidating the company's solidity.
In Vieux Port, on a stand with a private terrace, the shipyard exhibits scale models of the three lines developed under the supervision of chief designer Antonio Luxardo, in collaboration with excellent interior design studios such as m2atelier, Parisotto + Formenton and Pulina Design Interiors.
- Polaris: voyager between 38 and 60 meters, versatile and suitable for long voyages.
- Saturno: yachts between 38 and 90 meters, characterized by the historic Cantieri di Pisa stylistic features (black and white side lines, large ribbon windows, traditional stern) reinterpreted in a contemporary key.
- Akhir: the range that reinterprets the brand's most iconic line, with fast and light motoryachts, designed in full respect of the shipyard's DNA and tradition.
Custom Division: a tailor-made 40-meter
The Custom division has already sold and started the construction of a 40-meter superyacht, with a gross tonnage of less than 500 GT, designed by Antonio Luxardo and engineered by Studio Sa.Ma.Re Design. The boat has six guest cabins (an owner suite forward on the main deck with a private terrace, four guest cabins and a VIP cabin on the lower deck), supported by a crew of 8. The outdoor spaces, also designed for charter, include lounge areas, sun loungers, Jacuzzi and state-of-the-art entertainment equipment. The steel hull and the aluminum and composite superstructure with vacuum technology ensure strength, lightness and optimal performance in all sailing conditions.
Refit division: growth and new investments
Under the supervision of Marco Massabò and Umberto Nannola, Refit Manager, the division recorded a turnover in 2024 five times higher than in 2023. Today it has 24,000 square meters of operating area, with a 300-ton travel lift and a 670-ton waterlift, and manages more than 30 deliveries per year for a total length of more than 1,500 meters.
