Azimut at Cannes with the new Fly 82 and three previews of the Grande Series
Azimut Yachts presents itself at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 with one of the most anticipated debuts of the year: four world premieres that reflect the shipyard's vision of contemporary, informal and refined luxury. At the center of the scene are the new Grande 30M, Grande 36M and Grande Trideck models, reinterpreted with the language of Barefoot Luxury by m2atelier, and the brand new Fly 82, designed by Alberto Mancini and Fabio Fantolino, which becomes the new flagship of the flybridge range.
Fly 82, the new flagship of the Fly Series
The Fly 82 marks a step forward in the Azimut philosophy, combining Mancini's sculpted and dynamic lines with interiors that reflect the soft and harmonious elegance of Fabio Fantolino, in his third project for the Fly Series. At the center of the layout stands a large round dining table that transforms the living room into a convivial stage, embellished with contemporary color accents in orange-brown tones.
It is also the first Fly model to introduce the Deck2Deck™ system, already adopted on the Grande 26M: a solution that allows the aft bridge to be raised by aligning it with the main deck, transforming the cockpit terrace into a real living room overlooking the sea. The combination of technical innovation, design and liveability makes the Fly 82 the most advanced expression of open-air living according to Azimut.
Grande 30M, debut of the Rooftop Lounge
The new Grande 30M represents the first collaboration between Alberto Mancini and m2atelier, and marks the debut of the Barefoot Luxury concept. The exterior lines stand out for their purity and proportions, with the introduction of the Rooftop Lounge and the revamped Infinity Skydeck entirely walkaround, which seamlessly extends the Upper Deck from stern to bow. The floor-to-ceiling windows disappear, transforming the Glass House into a living room suspended over the sea, open on three sides.
The experience is completed by the Deck2Deck™ terrace, which expands the cockpit into a panoramic platform, and the interiors conceived as fluid and authentic spaces. Beneath the sculptural surface, the Grande 30M encompasses the most advanced innovations developed by the Group's R&D department: carbon fiber construction, wave-piercing bow and double-chine hull by P. L. Ausonio Naval Architecture, all combined with a state-of-the-art Rolls Royce propulsion system with mtu and POD engines. This configuration guarantees a 15% improvement in efficiency compared to traditional systems, reducing fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions, improving agility, silence and comfort.
Grande 36M and Trideck: reinvented interiors
The Grande 36M and Grande Trideck models debut with interiors by m2atelier, which bring the Barefoot Luxury language to a new design expression. The philosophy is based on balanced materials and textures, clean lines and a relaxed elegance that does not give up sophistication.
A distinctive element are the new Feature Walls, decorative surfaces transformed into authentic works of art:
on the Grande 36M, the Gradient Wall features shades printed on fabric and pleated by hand by master craftsmen; on the Grande 30M, the Deconstructed Wall creates a suspended and translucent effect with glass, full-height decorative elements and floating steps; on the Trideck, the Unveiling Wall combines sartorial craftsmanship and precision mechanics, with vertical strips that slide to reveal the TV wall.
These details, together with the radical conception of straight lines as an expression of purity and refinement, define an unmistakable style that transforms any space into a harmonious and contemporary environment.
A new concept of contemporary luxury
With these four world premieres, Azimut redefines the concept of informal, authentic and fluid luxury, designed for a new generation of owners who want to experience the sea with freedom, elegance and increasingly direct contact with the surrounding environment. From the generous volumes of the Fly 82 to the cutting-edge technical solutions of the Grande 30M, from the tailored interiors of the 36M and Trideck to the innovations of the Deck2Deck™ system, the brand confirms its leadership in international yachting, combining sustainability, efficiency and design in a perfect balance between tradition and future.
