Wild news for Sahrai at Milan Fashion Week. Sahrai arrives at Milan Fashion Week, which will take place from September 21 to 27, with an unprecedented capsule collection belonging to the Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors collection, the Maison's platform dedicated to home furnishings, accessories and rugs.

The collection, called Cavalli Scratch, bold and savage like the new Brand image, was created in collaboration with Fausto Puglisi, Creative Director of Roberto Cavalli, founded in 1970 and one of the most important Italian fashion, luxuryaccessory and lifestyle houses, today controlled by Vision Investment Co. LLC.

Following a fil rouge that combines fashion and design, Fausto Puglisi has transferred into the rugs the most iconic elements that have made the Maison famous all over the world, revisited in a contemporary key, in line with what has been done with the Zero Collection: animal prints, dominated by neutral shades and black, with the total absence of primary colors.

Past and present blend together, giving life to four rugs on which the primordial strength, the kinetic energy released by each pattern, stops within defined spaces, which become the protagonists of the environments with their strong personality, and a decisive "rock" attitude.

Four souls, those of "Jaguar", "Tiger" and "Zebra", along with "Flag", the manifesto of the collection, the most representative rug of the new stylistic journey of Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors: the rug, made of New Zealand wool and hand tufted bamboo silk embeds two animal patterns within the geometries of a flag that recalls that of the United States, emblem of a new universal aesthetic, bold and passionate, wild and inclusive.  A perfect synthesis of sensuality, freedom, strength and dynamism, combined with the most refined artisan techniques, the flagship of Sahrai’s production. This is Cavalli Scratchpresented in Sahrai’s showroom in Via Manzoni 45, Milan.

With a two-hundred-year-old story, which began in Tehran in 1830, and handed down generation after generation, up to today, Sahrai was born from the passion for the most refined Rugs, for the desire to create works of art that paid homage to the Persian culture and tradition, but that were at the same time capable of looking to the future through the continuous research of materials, production techniques and styles. Sahrai's popularity began to expand thanks to its intuition to combine tradition with the most sophisticated contemporary design. At the beginning of the twentieth century the company expanded into European markets, increasing its reputation as a leader in innovation and in the exploration of new frontiers in the luxury Rug sector, continuously striving for excellence, without compromise.
