Maserati GT2 Stradale "Tribute to MC12": the custom-built car inspired by the legend of the Trident
Maserati presents the GT2 Stradale "Tribute to MC12", a one-off developed through the Maserati Fuoriserie program for a Taiwanese collector. Produced in the historic Modena plant, the car pays homage to the legendary Maserati MC12, reinterpreting its sporty DNA through a bespoke configuration.
A livery inspired by the Maserati MC12 GT1
The GT2 Stradale adopts a reinterpretation of the Leggenda livery, with Digital Mint Matte and Nero Essenza bodywork, embellished with details in Giallo Avia Pervia.
The colours recall the MC12 GT1 of the Vitaphone Racing team, protagonist at the 24 Hours of Spa with three victories in 2005, 2006 and 2008. Yellow also characterizes the Tridents, the rear Maserati badge and the signature on the carbon wing, while the Fuoriserie logos on the fenders echo the Digital Mint shade. For the first time on the GT2 Stradale, all the main carbon fibre aerodynamic elements, including flaps, louvers, shrouds and rear wing, are offered in a high-gloss finish.
The equipment is completed by carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow calipers, black anodized single-nut wheels and the Performance Plus package.
Racing interior and tailor-made details
In the passenger compartment we find racing seats in black Alcantara, Trident embroidered in yellow, four-point belts and coordinated stitching on the steering wheel, dashboard, central tunnel and door panels. An exclusive "Tribute to MC12" badge, requested by the owner, identifies this unique example.
640 hp and over 320 km/h
The Maserati GT2 Stradale is equipped with the 640 hp V6 Nettuno and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of over 320 km/h. The model transfers motorsport-developed solutions to the road, combining aerodynamics, weight reduction and performance with the refined setting typical of Maserati Gran Turismos.
The "Tribute to MC12" also represents the possibilities offered by the Maserati Fuoriserie program, which allows the bodywork, interior, materials and finishes to be customized through a process of co-creation with the customer.
Finally, the presentation is part of the Year of the Trident, dedicated to the hundredth anniversary of the iconic Maserati logo and the centenary of the first sporting victory achieved by Alfieri Maserati with the Tipo 26 in 1926.
