Bentley Torcal, the first electric model debuts
Bentley presents Torcal, the first all-electric model in its history. Unveiled in London on September 23, 2026, the new SUV is designed, developed and built in Crewe and inaugurates the brand's fourth product line, alongside the current proposals with internal combustion and hybrid engines.
The model will be available in Torcal and Torcal S versions. The latter reaches 888 hp and 1,350 Nm of torque, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaches 260 km/h. The standard version develops 821 hp and 1,194 Nm, with 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
Up to 600 km range
Torcal uses a 113 kWh net battery with 800-volt architecture. Bentley claims a range of up to 600 km WLTP and a maximum charging power of 400 kW, enough to recover about 161 km of range in seven minutes.
The new model also introduces the first fully active suspension ever adopted on a Bentley, combined with four-wheel steering as standard. The system increases the turning circle to 11.1 metres and aims to combine comfort on long journeys with greater agility in urban use.
Interiors between technology and natural materials
The cabin retains some typical Bentley elements, such as the dashboard inspired by the brand's wings and physical controls, alongside curved OLED screens and new digital functions.
The front seats offer 16-way electric adjustments, heating, ventilation and massage as standard. Options include Postural Adjust and Smart Seat Climate systems, designed to improve comfort on long journeys.
On the material front, Torcal introduces an automotive fabric made of 100% Merino wool and certified Responsible Wool Standard, as well as the new Ombré Walnut by Mulliner finish, obtained with layers of walnut and recycled paper.
A new sound identity
For the first electric model, Bentley did not choose to digitally mimic the sound of a traditional engine. The Bentley Dynamic Symphony was developed using real instruments, including drums, viola and bass, taking the rhythm of the 63/4-litre Bentley V8 as a reference.
The sound varies according to speed and torque demand, becomes more present in Sport mode and can be completely deactivated.
With Torcal, Bentley is therefore introducing electric to its range without sacrificing the elements that characterise the brand: performance, comfort, craftsmanship and attention to materials, reinterpreted on an all-electric platform.
