Gulfstream: 100th Starlink installation on board

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has successfully completed the 100th Starlink high-speed internet installation, serviced on a Gulfstream G650ER at the Fort Worth Alliance Service Center in Texas. The milestone comes less than a year after the FAA's Supplemental Type Certification (STC) for the installation of Starlink on the G650 and G650ER, allowing customers to work directly with Gulfstream to upgrade the connectivity of their jets.

To date, Gulfstream has obtained similar FAA certifications for the installation of Starlink on G800, G700, G600, G500, G550 and GV, with plans to further expand its reach. In addition, customers can choose to install them in-line on the G800, G700, G600 and G500 models.

On board, Starlink enables simultaneous use of services such as video calls, cloud-based applications and offerings, and data transfers, thanks to connectivity with latency of less than 90ms and download speeds between 100 and 250 Mbps.
