Embraer delivers the first Praetor 600E to Flexjet
Embraer has delivered the first Praetor 600E to Flexjet, marking the entry of the new super-midsize business jet into the launch customer's fleet. The delivery is part of the up to $7 billion deal announced in February 2025, which includes 182 aircraft on firm order and options for an additional 30 units.
The Praetor 600E was unveiled alongside the Praetor 500E in February 2026 and was certified by ANAC, FAA and EASA in April of the same year. The first Praetor 500E expected under the same agreement will arrive in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Smart Window for work and entertainment
The delivered aircraft is equipped with Embraer's Smart Window technology, a 42-inch 4K OLED monitor integrated into the cabin. The system allows for video conferencing, viewing high-resolution content and showing real-time images from three cameras installed outside the aircraft. Combined with the optional sofa configuration, the Smart Window can be used for both work and in-flight entertainment.
The Praetor 600E also introduces a redesigned cabin, new Embraer seats, an updated cabin management system and an enhanced galley.
Range up to 7,441 km
With four passengers and NBAA IFR reserves, the Praetor 600E offers an intercontinental range of 4,018 nautical miles, or 7,441 km. Non-stop connections indicated by Embraer include London-New York and São Paulo-Miami.
On the avionics front, the aircraft adopts full fly-by-wire technology with active turbulence reduction system, as well as the Embraer Enhanced Vision System (E2VS) and the Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System (ROAAS).
The collaboration between Embraer and Flexjet dates back to 2003. In 2019, the operator had already been chosen as the launch customer of the fleet for the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600. The delivery of the first Praetor 600E now represents a further advance in the agreement signed in 2025, which will continue with the arrival of the Praetor 500E by the end of 2026.
