New Private Terminal in South Carolina
A New Chapter for Business Aviation in South Carolina: Cerulean General Aviation, the premium FBO at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP-KGSP), has opened its completely refurbished terminal, set to redefine the standards of hospitality for passengers and general aviation crews and corporate. The project, signed by McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture with the execution of Harper General Contractors, has transformed the airport experience into an oasis of comfort and elegance.
The terminal now covers more than 1,200 square metres, thanks to an expansion of around 750 square metres that has enabled the addition of new reserved lounges, a bar with free snacks and drinks, private conference rooms, relaxation areas for pilots complete with showers and refined environments with a contemporary style. Every detail is designed to offer privacy, efficiency and well-being, in perfect harmony with the needs of an elite clientele.
Outside, a new canopy accommodates vehicles ensuring covered access, while the optimised air conditioning system and a new parking layout ensure functionality and fluidity. With offerings that also include U.S. Customs services, concierge assistance, Jet A and 100LL refueling, and 24/7 operations, Cerulean is now the only full-service FBO in North South Carolina.
Founded in 2016, Cerulean Aviation continues its steady growth: it currently operates a fleet of 35 hangar aircraft – from private jets to helicopters – with more than 9,000 annual towing operations and fuel consumption that exceeded 2.2 million gallons in 2024. To meet the growing demand, the construction of a new 3,200-square-meter hangar by autumn 2026 is already planned. A member of the Air Elite Network and a CAA Preferred certified FBO, Cerulean confirms itself as a point of reference for those who want a superior airport experience, where luxury, performance and hospitality meet.
Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP-KGSP), located in South Carolina, is located between the cities of Greenville (about 20 km, 15-20 minutes by car) and Spartanburg (about 25 km, 20-25 minutes by car) and is strategically positioned to serve all of the northern Piedmont area of South Carolina and part of North Carolina. Its location also makes it an ideal hub for private jets en route to the southeastern United States.
