Milano Prime in EBACE25
Milano Prime took part as an exhibitor in the recently concluded edition of EBACE 2025, the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition that took place in Geneva from 20 to 22 May.
Inside booth #666, SEA Prime presented its strategies and ongoing projects for the development of business aviation in the Milan area, confirming the central role of Linate Prime and Malpensa Prime in the European scene.
In 2024, SEA Prime recorded approximately 34,400 movements, up from 33,900 in the previous year, accompanied by a 3% increase in the tonnage of aircraft managed. The beginning of 2025 also showed a positive trend, particularly at Linate Prime, which saw growth of 4.3%, driven by the strong turnout of passengers during Milan Design Week. On that occasion, 858 movements were recorded between Linate and Malpensa, with a daily average of 123 flights and peaks of 152.
Participation in EBACE was also an opportunity to update the sector on the developments underway at the Prime Terminal in Linate, where expansion work continues in view of the major events of 2026. The project involves an increase of 2,000 square meters of surface area, which will be added to the current 600 square meters for passengers, with the aim of enhancing the lounge experience, ground services and operational efficiency. All according to an infrastructural regeneration approach attentive to comfort, quality and sustainability.
Chiara Dorigotti, CEO of SEA Prime, underlined how the company continues to support its customers with tailor-made solutions and infrastructures, in line with the constant evolution of needs in the business aviation sector. The results achieved confirm, according to Dorigotti, the strategic role of Milano Prime within the Milan airport system, representing a privileged access point for international buyers and visitors to the main Milanese events. And, with an eye on Milan-Cortina 2026, SEA Prime therefore continues its path of sustainable growth, innovation and customer centricity at the heart of European business aviation.
