Malaga-Costa del Sol airport is located 8 km from the city centre and is one of the oldest Spanish airports (1919). Is the most southern airport in Continental Europe. Most of the traffic handled by the airport is from the European Union:  London, Manchester, Dublín, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and Copenhagen. Malaga-Costa del Sol airport also has scheduled flights to the rest of Spain: Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca and Melilla.

A suburban train line (Line C1–Renfe) connects Málaga centre with the Terminals T4 and T3. Estimated travel time: 12 minutes to the centre of Málaga.

Bus
Several bus lines (A Express Line; M-135 line) connect the centre of Málaga (the nearby towns and various Andalusian cities) to the airport. Estimated travel time: 15 minutes to the centre of Málaga.

Car
Malaga Airport is connected with the centre of city with Av. Velázquez/MA-21. Journey time: 14 minutes.

Taxi
The Taxi service (Radiotaxi; Unitaxi) connects the city of Malaga with the airport, that has a well-signposted taxi rank outside the arrivals area of Terminal T3.
