Frankfurt-Hahn

The Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is the tenth-largest passenger airport in Germany: every year million travelers pass through this international airport. Today is the first low-cost airport in Germany, and connects Frankfurt at more than fifty destinations across Europe and North Africa. At the same time, it is one of the few international airports in Germany with unlimited transactions for 24 hours a day. The airport has many advantages: the permit to fly at night and one convenient location, a long runway of 3,800 meters, an instrument landing system that allows safe operation even in case of bad weather, and good road links to the surrounding towns. It is located in the middle of one of the most important economic areas of Europe, called "Blue Banana", which extends across Europe from Marseilles via Switzerland, western Germany and Benelux to London. 

 

Several buses serve the airport to/from the following cities: Frankfurt, Zell, Bullay, Bingen and Bad Kreuznach, Ludwigshafen, Mannheim, Karlsruhe and Metz.
