The symbol of this new edition is Samuella, a seven-year-old girl from Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, suffering from severe congenital heart disease. After years of waiting, thanks to a flight organized by the Foundation, she was able to reach the Giannina Gaslini Children's Hospital in Genoa, where she was successfully operated. Today Samuella is fine and can finally live her childhood.

Until 23 November, through the www.salvali.org website, it will be possible to contribute to the Flight Emergency Fund, which allows you to intervene quickly in the most serious cases, when the timeliness of the air transfer is the only possibility of salvation.

The campaign, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority), Assaeroporti and Aeroporti 2030, counts on the participation of 29 Italian airports, united to spread a message of hope that crosses the sky and cancels distances.

The participating airports include Alghero, Bergamo, Bologna, Cagliari, Catania, Comiso, Cuneo, Florence, Pisa, Forlì, Genoa, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Naples, Salerno, Olbia, Palermo, Turin, Trapani (members of Assaeroporti) and Rome Fiumicino, Ciampino, Venice, Verona, Treviso, Bari, Brindisi, Foggia and Taranto Grottaglie (members of Aeroporti 2030).

The #SalvALI campaign will be promoted through the press, radio and TV, thanks to the support of numerous national and local media partners who will provide free spaces to amplify the message of solidarity.

Since 2012, the Flying Angels Foundation has made it possible to treat more than 3,300 children in 90 countries, collaborating with 120 humanitarian organizations and 150 hospitals around the world, and funding more than 6,500 airline tickets, including those for about 80 medical missions in developing countries.

#SalvALI is much more than a fundraising campaign: it is a collective movement that unites institutions, airports, companies and citizens around a common goal: not to leave behind any child who needs to fly towards life.
