Taste and sustainability at high altitude with Thai Airways
Thai Airways International presents "Good Taste for a Good Cause", the new project dedicated to in-flight catering that combines gastronomic excellence with a commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. In collaboration with ethical producers and Thai artisans, THAI introduces a selection of authentic, local and high-quality products on board, available on European flights and in specific classes of service.
Signature Food Experience in Royal Silk and Economy
Passengers departing from European airports such as Milan Malpensa can discover exclusive menus that celebrate Thai and international culinary culture . Among these, the refined "Taste of THAI Tales", available in Royal Silk Class, offers dishes inspired by regional traditions, enriched with culinary storytelling and selected local ingredients.
In Royal First Class, the experience takes it to a higher level with the Caviar Giaveri, the protagonist of an excellent gastronomic proposal. To complete the offer, gourmet dishes such as tuna and avocado tartare, Hokkaido shrimp, king crab and foie gras, embellished with fine caviar, available on selected flights in March, July and November.
Sustainability and craftsmanship in a chocolate
THAI also introduces KanVela's award-winning artisanal chocolate on board, produced in Thailand according to ethical and sustainable methods, served in Royal First and Royal Silk Class. Each bar, made with local bean-to-bar cocoa, represents a true expression of responsible quality.
High-altitude coffee and social responsibility
The sensory journey continues with the "Black Silk Blend" blend, a premium coffee produced by DoiTung for THAI, from the heights of Northern Thailand. Its notes of dark chocolate and caramel reflect local savoir-faire and direct support for farming communities.
Exclusive cocktails between heritage and innovation
THAI enriches the experience with cocktails inspired by Thai history and culture. The "Rose of the Royal Voyage", created for the Bangkok-Brussels flight, pays homage to King Chulalongkorn with a recipe based on champagne and Chulalongkorn rose from Chiang Mai. For the company's 65th anniversary, "Oriental Dawn" - signed by the famous Bamboo Bar of the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok - combines cognac, lychee, lemongrass and soda to tell the story of the encounter between East and West.
