Themed trains for slow and sustainable tourism in Spain
Many proposals such as thematic trips or in historic convoys with departures from Bilbao, Madrid, Oviedo, Santiago de Compostela and Seville to discover unusual destinations
Exclusive rail journeys: Renfe's tourist trains return in spring for unique experiences between history, nature and gastronomy across Spain. Indeed, with the arrival of spring, Renfe inaugurates the new season of its exclusive luxury tourist trains, a journey that combines elegance, comfort and cultural tourism through some of the most fascinating scenery in Spain.

Among the protagonists of the season, the Transcantábrico Gran Lujo, departing from Oviedo, the Al Ándalus, which debuts on March 23 from Seville, the Costa Verde Express, operating from May 17 from Santiago de Compostela, and the Expreso de La Robla, which departs from Bilbao on July 20. On board, passengers can enjoy the comfort of hotels on rails, with elegant cabins, first-class service and excellent gastronomy.

Thematic experiences between culture and tradition
In addition to luxury trains, Renfe offers unique themed journeys that allow you to discover Spain's rich historical and natural heritage:
- Galician Trains: 13 routes to explore dramatic cliffs, ancient monasteries and camellia gardens, with tastings of local cheeses and wines.
- Tren de Cervantes: from April to December, it connects Madrid to Alcalá de Henares, Cervantes' hometown, with actors who animate the journey between history and literature.
- Tren de los Molinos: in May, from Madrid to Campo de Criptana, to discover the windmills of Don Quixote, with food and wine stops.

- Tren Medieval de Sigüenza: between April and November, a leap into the past among ladies and knights, with a visit to the medieval town of Sigüenza.
- Tren de la Fresa: in spring and autumn, a journey on vintage carriages from Madrid to Aranjuez, with tasting of local strawberries.
- Tren de Felipe II: historical route from Madrid to San Lorenzo de El Escorial, with a visit to the famous monastery.

- Tren Campos de Castilla: in the footsteps of the poet Antonio Machado, between Madrid and Soria, with cultural stops and shows on board.
- Tren dels Llacs: from April to October, it crosses the picturesque lakes of the Pre-Pyrenees of Lleida, with food and wine and cultural stops.
- Ferrocarril de Sóller: in Mallorca, a journey of yesteryear between mountains, bridges and tunnels, up to the picturesque village of Sóller.
Many proposals for a particular train journey in the name of slow and sustainable tourism, which enhances the Spanish heritage and offers an authentic and unforgettable experience.
