Dubai officially reopens to Italian Travellers: the Government's travel advisory revoked
The Italian Government has revoked the travel advisory for Dubai, a decision welcomed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). The Emirati city confirms the full operation of hotels, attractions, restaurants and shops, ready to welcome visitors from Italy again.
Dubai International Airport (DXB) has never stopped its operations: Emirates now serves 97% of its global network, with connections to 138 destinations in 73 countries, while Dubai Airports and its partner airlines continue their work to fully restore international operational capacity.
New openings and major events in the coming months
The city's tourist offer is enriched with new attractions and investments. Recent openings include the Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark, a water park of over 20,000 square meters, the renovated Lost World Aquarium of Atlantis The Palm and the redevelopment of Khor Al Mamzar beach, which now has a floating walkway over the sea, a 24-hour night beach and over 5.5 kilometers of walking trails, running and cycling.
In the coming months, the first Six Senses, Gran Meliá and Kimpton properties will also open in the city, along with the debut of the first Baccarat Hotel and Residences in the United Arab Emirates. From 14 to 17 September, Dubai will also host the Arabian Travel Market, one of the reference events for international tourism.
Visit Dubai's words
Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Visit Dubai), stressed that the updates reflect the positive signs observed in the region, recalling that in recent months many Travellers have been waiting for more clarity on the geopolitical situation before planning their travel. Kazim reiterated that the safety of residents and visitors remains the city's top priority, thanks to the constant collaboration between the public and private sectors that has allowed hotels, attractions, shopping malls and transport networks to continue to operate regularly. Finally, the CEO expressed confidence in the future of the destination, inviting Italian visitors to discover or rediscover the hospitality of Dubai.
