One month to the Italian Grand Prix: Monza prepares for Formula 1
The Formula 1 Pirelli Italian Grand Prix 2026 is one month away and Monza is ready to once again experience the most eagerly awaited weekend in Italian motorsport. From 4 to 6 September, the Autodromo Nazionale will once again be the stage for one of the most prestigious races of the Formula 1 World Championship, attracting hundreds of thousands of fans from Italy and abroad.
The event represents one of the main international sporting events hosted in our country and generates important repercussions for the territory every year, involving accommodation facilities, commercial activities, catering and services. Monza thus confirms itself as a reference destination for motoring enthusiasts, thanks to a circuit that has been synonymous with speed, tradition and spectacle for over a century.
The run-up to the Grand Prix will officially kick off on Tuesday 1 September, with the presentation press conference hosted at the Milan Automobile Club Show. The choice of the venue recalls the origins of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, founded in 1922 by the Automobile Club of Milan and which has become one of the most recognizable symbols of Formula 1 in the world.
During the weekend, Monza will host not only the sporting activities on the track, but also the institutional events that traditionally accompany the Grand Prix. Among these, the gala dinner on Saturday evening will bring together the heads of the FIA, Formula 1, institutions and representatives of the automotive industry within the Autodromo, confirming the city's role as a center of international motorsport.
With over a hundred years of history, the Temple of Speed continues to represent an essential stop on the world championship calendar. The Italian Grand Prix is in fact much more than a sporting competition: it is an event that combines passion, tradition and innovation, helping to promote the image of Monza and Italy in front of a global audience.
A month after the green light, the expectation is therefore growing for an edition that promises to be one of the most attended in recent years and which, once again, will bring the heart of Formula 1 to the historic temple of speed.
