ITA Airways' Runway Lounge at Milan Linate
ITA Airways has recently inaugurated the new Runway Lounge at Milan Linate Airport, an exclusive environment that officially opens to the public on May 15, 2025. Designed by the Robilant Associati branding agency, the lounge embodies the style and culture of Made in Italy, with the aim of transforming waiting at the airport into an immersive, contemporary and authentically Italian experience.
The name "Runway" recalls both the runway and the fashion catwalks, a tribute to Milan's vocation as the capital of style and a symbol of Italian excellence. The lounge is the first to bear the "Member of Lufthansa Group" brand, marking a new chapter for the Italian company within the international alliance.
Located between gates A17 and A21, the Runway Lounge covers an area of 482 m², with 125 seats and three dedicated areas: relaxation, food and business. Passengers can enjoy exclusive services such as free Wi-Fi, digital newsstand, reserved stations for calls and meetings, all in a welcoming and refined atmosphere. It is open every day from 6.00 am to 10.00 pm.
Among the partners of excellence who contributed to the creation of the space are Campari Group, illycaffè, iGuzzini for lighting and Poltrona Frau for furniture.
Access to the ITA Airways Runway Lounge at Milan Linate Airport is reserved for:
- ITA Airways passengers and Lufthansa Group airlines in Business Class,
- Executive and Premium members of the Volare loyalty program,
- Hon Circle members and Senators of Miles&More,
- Star Alliance Gold Card holders departing with Lufthansa Group airlines,
- ITA Airways American Express Gold or Platinum holders,
- members of Frequent Flyer partner programs who fly with ITA Airways.
Linate is a strategic airport for ITA Airways, not only because it represents an important City Airport for business traffic, but also for leisure passengers who can reach 27 direct destinations from here and, through flights from Rome Fiumicino airport, have access to the Company's entire network, including 16 intercontinental destinations.
