Catania Airport expands the VIP Lounge
Renovation and expansion works until May 2025 to improve the passenger experience
Catania Airport continues its growth path with the renovation and expansion of the SAC VIP Lounge, temporarily closed from 9 December 2024 until May 2025. The intervention represents a key element in the strategic development plan launched by the management company, aimed at improving the passenger experience and consolidating the role of the airport as an infrastructure of excellence at the service of the Sicilian territory.
At the end of the interventions, the SAC VIP Lounge will be completely renovated and expanded, going from 70 square meters to 400 square meters, with a total of 200 new seats. The rooms will be redesigned to offer a modern, elegant and functional space, with areas dedicated to relaxation, well-being and comfort for travellers.
During the closure period, passengers can continue to use the Fast Track service for priority access to security checks. In addition, VIP card holders have access to the ITA Room, for an adequate level of comfort even during the works.
