The World Travel Award is given annually in different categories of international travel and tourism and is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the industry. For the application, factors such as customer satisfaction and quality standards in products and services at Zurich Airport and the surrounding area are evaluated. Once nominated by the World Travel Award committee, the winners are selected via a global online vote that includes both industry professionals and the public.
