Record summer for Torino Airport
From 29 March 2026, the summer season of Turin Airport kicks off, which is the largest ever in terms of number of destinations, countries connected and available seats. For passengers departing from the Piedmontese capital, Turin Airport's Summer 2026 offers a more extensive network, more frequencies and new travel opportunities for both tourism and business travel.
The numbers confirm the airport's growth: the summer network reaches 53 destinations, an increase of 6% compared to summer 2025, and connects a total of 24 countries. Among the novelties there are also three new countries served compared to last year: Finland, Hungary and Bulgaria. The overall offer also puts up for sale 700 thousand additional seats on the entire network compared to Summer 2025.
Among the main novelties of summer 2026 from Turin stands out the arrival of Finnair, the new airline for the Piedmontese airport, which from 3 May inaugurates the direct connection to Helsinki. For passengers, it is a new gateway to Northern Europe and, via the Finnish hub, also to further connections to Asia and North America.
Ryanair's presence in Turin is also strengthened, with new direct flights to Sofia and Tirana and with the enhancement of numerous routes already in operation. The expansion is supported by the third aircraft based in Turin from November 2025 and concerns, on the international front, destinations such as Madrid, Malaga and Marrakech, while on the domestic market connections to Catania, Palermo, Lamezia Terme and Reggio Calabria are growing.
Wizz Air is also significantly expanding its offer from Turin Airport. In the summer 2026 season, the company will launch new flights to London (Luton Airport), served for the first time also in summer, and to Palermo. Added to these are Budapest and Chisinau, which continue from the winter season. The number of seats available on routes already operated such as Catania, Bucharest and Tirana is also growing.
On the domestic network front, Aeroitalia will serve the destinations Foggia and Salerno during the summer, also introducing the new connection to Comiso. The domestic offer from Turin is thus even more articulated, with new solutions useful for those looking for direct flights to Southern Italy and the islands.
For passengers looking for the sea, Turin Airport offers a very wide range of direct connections to various locations in the Mediterranean. In Italy you can reach Olbia, Cagliari, Alghero, Catania, Palermo, Trapani, Bari, Brindisi, Naples and Lamezia Terme. In Europe, on the other hand, the offer includes destinations such as Malta, Corfu, Ibiza, Malaga and Valencia, which are particularly interesting for summer holidays and short breaks.
There is also a very rich choice for those who prefer European city breaks. From the Turin airport you can directly reach cities such as Barcelona, Porto, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Vilnius, expanding the possibilities of travel to capitals and urban centers of strong tourist and cultural attraction.
For those who want to fly further afield, Turin Airport Summer 2026 guarantees multi-day connections with some of the main European hubs, including Rome, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Madrid and Paris (Charles de Gaulle airport), to which Istanbul and the new Helsinki are added. For passengers, this means convenient connections to intercontinental destinations, with access to a global network through a single stopover.
The 2026 summer season therefore confirms the growing role of Torino Airport (TRN) as a strategic infrastructure for the territory and as an increasingly competitive starting point for Travellers from Turin and Piedmont. More destinations, more frequencies and more seats available make the airport's summer offer particularly interesting both from an outgoing perspective and for incoming traffic.
