Ninja Days kicks off at Munich Airport

From 23 August to 7 September, the Munich Airport Center will be transformed into a sports arena for the "Ninja Champions Series"

In August, the forum of the Munich Airport Center (MAC), Europe's largest indoor outdoor area, will be transformed into an arena for exceptional athletes: on August 23, 2025, the "Ninja Champions Series" will kick off, a professional competition inspired by the famous Japanese format Sasuke, which tests physical strength, agility and mental endurance on spectacular obstacle courses.

Around 50 athletes from over 16 countries will compete in a knockout tournament on a track almost 50 metres long and over 7 metres high, designed by ninja experts David Eilenstein and Chris Harmat. Among the most anticipated protagonists are the Australian champion Olivia Vivian, the American Abby Clark and the French Clément Gravier, holder of the national title.

Admission to the public is free, but tickets must be booked online in advance on the airport's official website: munich-airport.de/ninja. The doors will open at 15:00, while the competition will start at 16:00.

August 24 will be dedicated to learning: participants will be able to try their hand at practical workshops held by athletes who are experts in the competition. The one-hour sessions will take place between 9:00 and 17:00 and are aimed at both beginners and more advanced levels. The cost is 15 euros and registration is mandatory.

From 25 August to 7 September, the route will also be open to the public: passengers and visitors to Munich Airport will have the opportunity to test their ninja skills. Access will be allowed from 8 years of age and with a minimum height of 140 cm. An exciting challenge to test yourself, have fun and experience the airport in a completely new way.
