The new Milan-Boston flight strengthens Malpensa's intercontinental network and consolidates the role of the Milan airport as an international gateway to Northern Italy. For JetBlue, on the other hand, Milan becomes the first Italian destination and the ninth direct route from Boston to Europe during the summer season.

The company already connects Boston with several European cities, including Amsterdam, London (Gatwick and Heathrow), Paris, Barcelona, Dublin, Edinburgh and Madrid. With the addition of Milan, the transatlantic network from Boston is enriched with a strategic destination for fashion, design, innovation, culture and tourism.

The direct connection between Milan Malpensa and Boston opens up new opportunities for Italian Travellers heading to the United States. Boston is one of the most interesting cities on the American East Coast: historic, university, dynamic and easily connected to many destinations on the JetBlue network. For those departing from Italy, Boston can be both a travel destination and a point of connection to other destinations served by the company, particularly in the United States, Florida, California and the Caribbean.
