Heathrow brings Afternoon Tea to the VIP terminal with Cherish Finden
The Windsor by Heathrow expands its dining offerings with a Signature Afternoon Tea created by pastry chef Cherish Finden, judge of Bake Off: The Professionals. The new service is available exclusively to guests of the Heathrow VIP terminal and is included in the private service booking.
The menu has been designed to offer Travellers a moment of pause before departure or a special welcome upon arrival in London by combining the tradition of British Afternoon Tea with flavors and techniques inspired by Asia.
Savoury offerings include smoked Scottish salmon with seaweed and sesame, grilled ham & cheese with Wookey Hole cheddar and St Ewe's egg with black truffles. Scones are served hot with strawberry, raspberry and apricot jams and Cornish clotted cream.
The sweet part includes chocolate, coconut with pineapple and lemongrass and raspberry with Tahitian vanilla, lemon madeleine and shortbread creations.
The experience is offered on crockery and risers made specifically for the service, reinforcing the hospitality dimension that characterizes The Windsor.
Signature Afternoon Tea can be pre-booked by guests using the VIP service, which is available to passengers departing from or arriving at Heathrow in First or Business Class.
