Bologna Airport: runway closed at night for works until 30 September
From 25 August to 30 September 2025, the runway at Bologna Marconi Airport will be closed to air traffic during the night, from 11:55 pm to 5:55 am local time. The measure, necessary to allow extraordinary maintenance work on the pavements, maneuvering area and junctions, will involve the suspension of all take-offs and landings at the indicated hours.
Airlines, already informed, may decide to cancel night flights or transfer them to other airports. In all other time slots, the airport will be fully operational.
The management of Bologna Airport apologizes for the inconvenience, stressing that the interventions aim to improve the safety and efficiency of the infrastructure. Passengers are advised to contact their airline for information on individual flights, refunds or rerouting.
