Aeroitalia inaugurates flights at Foggia airport
Aeroitalia expands its network of destinations with the start of operations from Foggia's "Gino Lisa" airport. Starting from 1 November, a daily Foggia-Milan Malpensa flight will be operational, which will guarantee daily connections with one of the most important airports in Europe. In addition, Aeroitalia will activate two weekly frequencies on the Foggia-Turin route, with flights scheduled every Monday and Friday, ideal for both business trips and tourism.
The flights from Foggia to Milan and Turin "represent an important first step towards the Apulian market. We hope to soon start operating from Bari and Brindisi as well," said Gaetano Intrieri, CEO of Aeroitalia.
The 'Gino Lisa' airport of Foggia serves the city of Foggia and a large basin that includes territories of Irpinia, Molise and the province of Potenza, as well as the Capitanata, the second largest province in Italy. An area rich in tourist, cultural and religious resources, from the Gargano to the Dauni Mountains, up to San Giovanni Rotondo.
