Wizz Air launches Turin-Chișinău flight

The connection has been active since 13 December with two weekly frequencies to the capital of Moldova, every Tuesday and Saturday

Wizz Air further expands its network from Turin by introducing a new international route to Chișinău. The connection will be operational from 13 December 2025 with two weekly frequencies, every Tuesday and Saturday.

Chișinău, the capital of Moldova, is a lively city full of history. The new route responds to the strong demand from the Piedmont area, where there is a large Moldovan community, strengthening cultural and commercial ties between the two territories.

The announcement follows the introduction of flights to Budapest and Sofia, operational from 28 October 2025 with three weekly frequencies from Turin airport. During the Winter 2025/2026 season, Wizz Air will offer a total of eight destinations from Turin: Bucharest, Budapest, Catania, Chișinău, Iași, Sofia, Tirana and Warsaw (ski route).

These new connections are part of Wizz Air's Customer First Compass strategic plan, which envisages investments of €14 billion over the next three years, with the aim of continuously expanding the network, improving the passenger experience and introducing increasingly innovative services.
