Wizz Air connects Milan Malpensa to Ohrid

From March 30, 2026, Milanese travelers will have a new destination at their fingertips thanks to the debut of the Milan-Ohrid route operated by Wizz Air. Flights will operate twice a week, every Monday and Friday.

The service will be guaranteed with Airbus A321neo aircraft, which combine cutting-edge technology, comfort and greater environmental sustainability.

Ohrid, the jewel of North Macedonia and a UNESCO site along with its crystal-clear lake, is famous for its extraordinary cultural heritage that has earned it the nickname "Jerusalem of the Balkans". Among the most evocative places are the Church of St. John of Kaneo, suspended on a panoramic cliff, and the Fortress of Samuel, which offers breathtaking views of the city and the lake.

Wizz Air further expands the offer from Milan Malpensa airport, strengthening connections from Milan to a destination that is still little explored but full of charm and cultural travel opportunities.
