Third edition of the Volotea Travel Photo Awards
Volotea opens applications for the third edition of the Volotea Travel Photo Awards, the international competition dedicated to travel photography. The initiative invites professional photographers and amateursto tell the story of European destinations through authentic images, capable of enhancing people, traditions, local stories and moments of everyday life.
Applications are open from 15 June to 10 September 2026. Shots taken in the destinations served by Volotea or in the territories located within 100 kilometers of the airports of the company's network can participate.
The theme of the 2026 edition is "Tell the most human side of travel". The goal is to reward photographs that go beyond the simple representation of places and are able to show the identity of the communities, the encounters, the spontaneous gestures and the emotions that make a destination unique.
The competition includes two categories: professionals and amateurs. In the professional category, the winner will receive one year of free Volotea flights of up to €3,000, a FUJIFILM professional camera, a backpack and a Tropicfeel gift card. The five finalists will receive a €250 Volotea flight credit and a Tropicfeel gift card.
In the amateur category, the winner will receive one year of free Volotea flights of up to €1,000, a FUJIFILM digital camera, a backpack and a Tropicfeel gift card. The five finalists will get a €150 Volotea flight credit and a Tropicfeel gift card.
The images will be evaluated by an international jury composed of professionals in photography, creativity and communication. Criteria include technical quality, narrative strength, authenticity, ability to capture spontaneous moments and enhancement of the human side of travel.
