The "Volotea travel photo awards"
A photo contest open to amateurs and professionals to discover Volotea's destinations
Volotea, the airline that connects European cities, launches the first edition of the "Volotea Travel Photo Awards", a competition dedicated to discovering the beauty and authenticity of the destinations served by Volotea. Open until October 20, 2024, the competition invites photography enthusiasts, both amateurs and professionals, to capture the most fascinating corners of the cities in which Volotea operates, offering the winners a year of free flights with the company.
The competition was created to strengthen the bond with Volotea passengers, recognizing the importance of art and creativity in telling the story of travel. Marcos da Gama, Brand Director of Volotea, explained: "We want to celebrate travel photography by exploring the most authentic corners of Europe and inviting our passengers to tell their favorite places with a shot, reachable thanks to Volotea."
Until October 20, participants can upload their best travel photos to VoloteaTravelPhotoAwards.com, with no limit on the number. There are two categories: Photo Fan (for amateurs) and Pro (for professionals), with four themes: Local Life, Secret Places, Natural Beauty, and Shared Experiences.
A jury of experts, composed of renowned photographers and communication professionals, will select the winners. The prizes include one year of Volotea flights and photographic equipment, such as a FUJIFILM X-T50 digital camera for the winner of the Pro category.
The results will be announced on Volotea's social channels in the week of November 4, 2024.
