Pegasus focuses on artificial intelligence
Pegasus Airlines strengthens its digital innovation journey with a new investment in artificial intelligence applied to flight operations. Through the Pegasus Innovation Lab, the company has entered into a strategic partnership with Overwatch AI, a company specializing in the development of a platform designed for the operational needs of airlines.
The goal is to enable pilots, cabin crews and operations teams to access critical information more quickly, improving decision support during the different phases of flight activity. For passengers, this type of technology can translate into more efficient management of operations, with faster internal processes and greater responsiveness in the event of operational variables. An evolution that concerns the work of the ground and on-board teams, but which also contributes to making the travel experience increasingly reliable and organized.
In fact, the platform allows information to be retrieved through natural language, simplifying the consultation of data and procedures related to different areas: technical problems, meteorological assessments, airport requirements and airlines' operational indications. Pegasus has already started actively using the system in its operations.
The collaboration also stems from the role of Pegasus Innovation Lab, based in Silicon Valley, committed to developing partnerships with the global technology ecosystem to accelerate the company's digital transformation.
Overwatch AI was founded by former airline pilot Leo Kotil and tech entrepreneur Nikita Kaeshko. The platform, developed specifically for the aviation industry, is currently used in around 30,000 flight operations per month globally and helps to improve the efficiency of operational processes.
