New Wizz Air flights from Rome Fiumicino: all the new routes 2026

From March to September 2026, a new wave of connections from FCO debuts: more choice on Europe and more frequencies on Barcelona and Paris Orly

In a context of strong growth that has led Wizz Air to exceed 500 million passengers carried, the company continues to invest in Rome Fiumicino (FCO) by announcing the arrival of the 16th aircraft based and the launch of 16 new routes. The connections will be launched progressively between March and September 2026, significantly expanding travel options for weekend breaks and summer holidays

The new lines provide frequencies between 2 and 7 flights per week and fares starting from 14.99 euros, while the plan also includes an increase in flights on some high-demand routes and a targeted enhancement of the summer schedule to the main leisure destinations in the Mediterranean.

The 500 millionth passenger was welcomed on board a Rome Fiumicino - Yerevan flight, highlighting once again the importance of the Roman airport among the company's most strategic bases in Italy.

Among the initiatives designed for Travellers, Wizz Air has launched the "Golden Tickets", a celebratory promotion linked to the milestone of 500 million passengers carried by the company. For the occasion, 100 vouchers of 50 euros were awarded to passengers on four selected flights: an immediate "reward" for those who were on board those specific departures, designed to encourage new bookings and thank customers on the day of the celebration.
