New flight to Suceava from Bergamo, Bologna and Venice with Wizz Air

Connections to the north-east of Romania will start in December 2025 with three-weekly and four-weekly frequencies and operated with modern Airbus A321neo
Wizz Air is expanding its network with three new direct connections between Italy and Suceava, the gateway to the picturesque Bukovina in north-eastern Romania. Starting in December 2025, passengers will be able to fly year-round at affordable fares to this destination rich in history and nature, taking off from the airports of Venice (VCE), Milan Bergamo (BGY) and Bologna (BLQ).

The Bergamo-Suceava route will operate four times a week (every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) with the first flight scheduled for December 15, 2025.

Connections from Venice and Bologna will start on 16 December, operated with three weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). All flights will be carried out with modern Airbus A321neo, aircraft with low environmental impact. Tickets are already on sale.

Suceava, the ancient capital of Moldova and guardian of a rich cultural heritage, is an ideal destination for those who want to discover an authentic Romania. Among its attractions are the Suceava Castle, the famous frescoed churches declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and the artisan shops of the Bukovina tradition. Surrounded by the mountains and forests of the Carpathian Mountains, the city also offers numerous opportunities for hiking and nature tourism.

With the introduction of these new routes, Wizz Air strengthens its leadership in Italy-Romania flights, bringing the number of active routes between the two countries to 44. The expansion is part of the "Customer First Compass" strategy, a €14 billion plan to improve the traveler experience by offering lower fares, greater flexibility and seamless service throughout the travel journey.
