EasyJet celebrates 100 million passengers at Malpensa
Historic milestone for the company, which strengthens Malpensa's role as the main hub in Europe
EasyJet celebrates the achievement of 100 million passengers transported to and from Milan Malpensa airport, where since 1998 it has developed an important presence with 22 aircraft and 71 routes to 22 countries. In summer 2024 alone, around 5 million travelers chose Malpensa, helping to make this airport the company's main European hub, second only to London Gatwick.

To mark this milestone, the 100 million passenger was welcomed with a special event: an "orange carpet" ride, a commemorative recognition and two complimentary tickets.
Milan Malpensa is not only the hub of easyJet's flight operations, but also hosts an advanced 24-hour Training Centre for pilots and staff, where over 6,000 professionals are trained every year, consolidating the city's strategic role.
easyJet Italy Country Manager, Lorenzo Lagorio, said: "This result confirms the strategic value of Milan for easyJet, which remains committed to investing in the future of the airport."
