Air Arabia inaugurates Sharjah-Rome Fiumicino flight

The low-cost airline from the Middle East and North Africa operates five direct flights a week between the United Arab Emirates and the Italian capital with Airbus A320neo

Air Arabia inaugurates the new direct flight between Rome Fiumicino and Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates. The route marks a new step in the growth of the low-cost carrier in Europe and offers Italian passengers a new non-stop travel option to the Arabian Peninsula.

The service is operated with five direct flights per week between Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and Sharjah International Airport (SHJ). For those departing from Rome, the new connection allows you to reach one of the main cities of the Emirates with affordable rates and with an operation designed for both leisure travel and for travel related to business, tourism and family visits.

Sharjah is the third most populous city in the United Arab Emirates and is part of the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area, the largest in the country. The new route can therefore also be useful for those who want to reach the Dubai area and the northern Emirates, with a direct alternative from Fiumicino.
