Turkish Airlines starts flights to Santiago de Chile

Turkish Airlines continues to expand its global presence by inaugurating flights to Santiago de Chile, the Chilean capital. This new connection marks a significant milestone: the 131st country reached in the airline's global network and the 10th in the Americas, confirming its commitment to connecting continents and cultures.

 

Starting today, Turkish Airlines will operate four weekly flights on the Istanbul-Santiago route, with a stopover in São Paulo, Brazil. This new service underscores the airline's growing focus on the American market, bringing the number of destinations served in the region to 26.

 

With its combination of history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes dominated by the Andes, Santiago presents itself as a must-visit destination for travelers from all over the world. The addition of this destination further strengthens Turkish Airlines' global network, opening up new opportunities for tourism and trade between Turkey and Chile.

 

Turkish Airlines aims to make every trip a unique experience with a range of services designed for the maximum comfort of its guests. These include:

• Istanbul Stopover: Free hotel nights for passengers with layovers of 20 hours or more.
• Istanbul Tour: Free guided tours to discover the historical wonders of Istanbul for stopovers between 6 and 24 hours.

Turkish Airlines, founded in 1933, is a member of Star Alliance and today boasts a fleet of 491 aircraft (passenger and cargo) flying to 352 destinations worldwide, including 299 international and 53 domestic, in 131 countries.
