Emirates serves Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009 in First Class
Emirates announces the introduction of the prized Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 in its First Class, available from today on all flights departing from Dubai. This exceptional champagne, produced only in extraordinary vintages, will be offered for a limited time thanks to the exclusive collaboration with Moët Hennessy, which allows Emirates to be the only airline to access it directly from the cellar.
The 2009 Dom Pérignon Rosé stands out for its intensity, sensuality and structure: a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with a generous addition of still red wine, which gives it its characteristic rosé color and a complex aromatic profile. After 12 years of aging, the bouquet opens with rose petals, orange oil and saffron, continuing with raspberry, cherry and figs, to deeper notes of licorice and gingerbread. The palate is soft, enveloping, and closes with a persistent minerality.
Customers can check availability on board the 2009 Dom Pérignon Rosé via the 'What's on your flight' function on Emirates.com or on the Emirates app.
This new proposal is part of Emirates' ambitious champagne program, the most extensive in the airline sector, which also includes: Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015, Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 2006, Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial, Veuve Clicquot Vintage Blanc 2015, Chandon Vintage Brut 2019 (exclusive to Premium Economy).
For more than 16 years, Emirates has invested more than $1 billion in its wine program, sourcing fine wines and champagnes to mature in its cellars in France, where more than 6.5 million bottles are now stored. Some of them will only be served from 2035. Bordeaux wines for Business Class mature on average 8-10 years, while wines for First Class are offered after 12-15 years.
Finally, the sensory experience on board is completed by a selection of high-profile liqueurs, including Hennessy cognacs and artisanal spirits.
