ITA Airways launches the new direct Rome-Caracas flight

From 30 March 2027 three weekly frequencies from Rome Fiumicino with Airbus A330-900, with connections to the company's national and international network

ITA Airways opens a new direct flight between Rome Fiumicino and Caracas, operational from 30 March 2027.
The route will be served with three weekly frequencies, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and will be operated with Airbus A330-900s.

The new flight re-establishes a direct flight between Italy and Venezuela and expands ITA Airways' offer to Latin America. The service is designed both for tourist flows and for the needs of the large Italian community and of Italian origin residing in Venezuela, as well as for travel related to family, economic and commercial reasons.

Thanks to the hub at Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO), passengers arriving from Caracas will be able to continue to numerous destinations on ITA Airways' national and international network. Similarly, the connection will allow Travellers from other Italian and European cities to reach Venezuela via Rome.

The launch of the route was developed in collaboration with the competent authorities and with the support of the diplomatic network, and was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by ITA Airways and the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Italy.
