Iberia strengthens connections with Italy
Iberia has announced a significant increase in flights to Italy for the 2025-2026 winter season, with a particular focus on Rome on the occasion of the 2025 Jubilee. The airline will offer up to 44 weekly frequencies on the Madrid-Rome route, adding two flights compared to the previous year, for a total of about 380,000 seats available during the winter season.
Currently, Iberia operates direct flights to ten Italian cities, seven of which are served throughout the year: the capital is joined by Milan (MXP), Venice, Florence, Bologna, Naples, Turin, Catania, Olbia and Palermo.
This expansion of operations underlines Iberia's commitment to strengthening ties between Spain and Italy, offering Italian passengers more opportunities to travel to hubs in Madrid and beyond, through the airline's extensive network.
Flights are already available for booking on the official Iberia website and through travel agencies, allowing travelers to plan their travel in advance for next winter.
