flydubai wins two awards at the 2024 Aviation Innovation Awards
Recognition for innovation in passenger services and cargo partnerships, strengthening Dubai's role as a global aviation hub
flydubai, a Dubai based airline, has won two prestigious awards at the ninth edition of the Aviation Innovation Awards. The airline was awarded for "Outstanding Innovation in Products and Services" in the Aviation Industry category, while its cargo division received the award for "Innovative Collaborations and Partnerships" in the Cargo and Logistics sector.
The Aviation Innovation Awards, part of the 2024 Aviation Annual Gala Evening program, celebrate excellence in aviation innovation, recognizing advances in technology, sustainability, operations, product development, services, engineering and leadership.

In October 2024, flydubai officially opened a new dedicated Business Class check-in area at Dubai International Airport (DXB) Terminal 2, offering passengers a streamlined check-in process with personalized Meet and Assist and Fast Track services.
Earlier this year, the airline also received a four-star rating as a Major Airline from APEX for the second time in a row.

Since the beginning of 2024, flydubai Cargo has continued to enhance its capabilities through strategic partnerships, including the one with Accelya.
Launched in 2012, flydubai Cargo operates globally in over 150 destinations in 53 countries, offering reliability and affordability with high-frequency services from Dubai. Shipments can be transferred from one flydubai Cargo flight to another in just one hour after arrival in Dubai.
These awards underline Flydubai's commitment to innovation and continuous improvement of its services, consolidating its leading position in the aviation industry.
