flydubai updates the fleet with new Space Bins
The agreement signed with Boeing during the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2025 in Hamburg will improve onboard comfort and increase space for hand luggage
At the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), flydubai and Boeing announced a new agreement to retrofit 21 737 MAX aircraft from the UAE carrier's fleet with the latest Boeing Space Bin containers, designed to offer greater capacity and onboard convenience.
The new storage compartments can hold up to six standard carry-on bags, which is four more than traditional compartments, by simply rotating the luggage on the edge. A solution that allows passengers to find space for their hand luggage more easily and to enjoy a more fluid and organized experience, comparable to that of a wide-body aircraft.
Currently, flydubai operates a fleet of 88 Boeing 737s, of which 59 are 737 MAXs, supporting a growing network.
