flydubai opens route to Peshawar
flydubai, the UAE-based airline, has announced the launch of a new route to Peshawar, with daily flights operating from 15 May 2025. Connections depart from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and will land at Bacha Khan International Airport (PEW), also known as Peshawar Airport.
Since 2010, the year in which the airline launched its first flights to Karachi, it has expanded its network in Pakistan to include Faisalabad, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Quetta and Sialkot.
Peshawar, located in northwest Pakistan, is one of the oldest cities in South Asia, known for its cultural heritage and strategic location along ancient trade routes. Among its symbolic places, the Bala Hisar Fort and the famous Qissa Khwani Bazaar, historically a meeting point for merchants, poets and travelers.
