Flight from Milan and Philadelphia with American Airlines
American Airlines and SEA Aeroporti di Milano have announced the official start of the new direct flight between Milan Malpensa (MXP) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), operational from May 23, 2025 throughout the summer season. The connection, active once a day, enriches the offer between Milan and the United States, alongside the daily route to New York (JFK).
Philadelphia, American Airlines' first transatlantic hub, provides passengers departing from Milan with convenient access to a network of more than 120 destinations in North America, Latin America and the Caribbean, with 337 daily flights operated by the airline during the summer season.
During Summer 2025, Milan Malpensa airport will offer around 200 direct destinations, with an increase in long-haul capacity of more than 18%, the highest among major European airports.
Flight Operation Details:
- PHL - MXP: departure at 21:30, arrival at 11:20 the next day,
- MXP - PHL: departure at 13:20, arrival at 16:00,
- Aircraft: Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
