Etihad Airways' new destinations
Etihad Airways continues to expand its global network, announcing the opening of seven new routes that will directly connect Abu Dhabi to strategic destinations in Central Asia, the Caucasus, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
The new cities served are Almaty (Kazakhstan), Baku (Azerbaijan), Bucharest (Romania), Medina (Saudi Arabia), Tbilisi (Georgia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and Yerevan (Armenia). The first connection to be operational will be the one to Medina, scheduled to start in November 2025, while the other flights will depart from March 2026.
With these seven routes, Etihad reaches 27 new destinations introduced in 2025 alone. Destinations full of historical, spiritual and cultural charm, designed to attract travelers. From Medina, a place of pilgrimage par excellence, to vibrant cities such as Baku, Almaty or Tashkent, to the evocative landscapes and cultural heritage of Tbilisi and Yerevan.
2025 has already seen the inauguration of flights to Atlanta, Prague, Sochi and Warsaw, and the year will end with another 13 routes on the way. These connections will be joined by three new summer seasonal destinations for 2026: Krakow (Poland), Salalah (Oman) and Kazan (Russia).
