Emirates will bring Starlink Wi-Fi to its entire fleet by 2027

From November 2025, the rollout will start from Boeing 777s and will be extended to 232 aircraft, with ultra-fast and free connection for all passengers in all classes

Emirates has announced the adoption of Starlink Wi-Fi across its entire in-service fleet, bringing a broadband connection comparable to that on the ground on board. The rollout will begin in November 2025 on Boeing 777s and will be completed by mid-2027, involving a total of 232 aircraft.

The service, free and unlimited for all passengers, will allow you to watch streaming content, play online games, make video calls, work remotely and use social media for the duration of the flight. Connectivity will be available both on on-board screens and on personal devices, in all classes of travel, with simplified access through a single click and without the need for payment or membership in loyalty programs.

The first aircraft equipped with Starlink is the Boeing 777-300ER A6-EPF, presented at the Dubai Airshow, which will immediately enter commercial service inaugurating the operational phase of the program. Emirates plans to equip around 14 aircraft per month, with installation on Airbus A380s commencing in February 2026. Each Boeing 777 will be equipped with two Starlink antennas, while each A380 will have three, an industry first, to ensure maximum capacity and coverage in all cabins.

In addition to Wi-Fi, Emirates  will also introduce Live TV via Starlink, initially on personal devices and later on in-flight screens from the end of December 2025. The initiative is part of the wider fleet retrofit program, which includes the introduction of Premium Economy, the renewal of Business Class and First Class and the update of the entertainment system, confirming the company's desire to further raise the bar of the long-haul travel experience.
