Emirates has achieved prestigious accolades at the 2024 World Travel Awards, including 'World's Leading Airline - First Class', 'World's Leading Airline - Brand', 'World's Leading Airline - Inflight Entertainment' and 'World's Leading Airline - Rewards Programme'. In addition, the company was awarded at the World Travel Tech Awards 2024 as "Best Airline App Worldwide" and "Best Airline App in the Middle East".
These achievements add to a number of awards received by Emirates throughout the year, including the title of 'Best Airline in the World' at the 2024 ULTRAs, accolades from Telegraph Travel and Forbes Travel Guide's Air Travel Awards, as well as being classified as a '2025 APEX World Class Airline'.

The World Travel Awards ceremony was held at the Savoy Palace in Madeira, Portugal, where David Quito, Emirates' Country Manager in Portugal, accepted the awards on behalf of the airline. The World Travel Awards are among the most prestigious events in the industry, recognizing excellence in all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry. The World Travel Tech Awards celebrate excellence in technology applied to travel.
Emirates continues to invest in improving the passenger experience, introducing innovative concepts and expanding the loyalty ecosystem. The airline recently completed the refurbishment of 36 aircraft (26 A380s and 10 Boeing 777s), equipping them with refreshed interiors and the much-regarded Premium Economy, as part of a multibillion-dollar retrofit programme.

Emirates' First Class experience continues to set standards of excellence in the industry, with fully enclosed private suites, dine-on-demand service and the Shower Spa on the A380s. Recently, the company has improved its on-board wine offering with the launch of "L'art du vin", a tailor-made wine course for cabin crew, in order to better serve customers with fine wines and rare vintages.

In terms of inflight entertainment, Emirates has expanded its already extensive catalogue by partnering with Spotify, the world's most popular audio streaming service, offering customers a wide range of podcasts and playlists during the flight.
The Emirates Skywards loyalty programme has 33 million members worldwide, who can 'earn better' and 'spend better' through more than 200 partnerships with brands ranging from airlines, hotels and car rentals to financial, leisure and lifestyle brands. Skywards attracts more than 120,000 new members every month, who can redeem Miles for a range of rewards, including airline tickets and upgrades with Emirates, flights with partner airlines, hotel stays, gift cards, access to sporting and cultural events, and unique tours and experiences.

Emirates continues to enhance its digital experiences and integrate new technologies to make the customer journey even smoother. Recognised for its excellent functionality, user experience and range of features, the Emirates app offers real-time flight updates, baggage tracking, an airport map guide, the ability to explore all fleet cabins in 3D and the option to create personalised playlists before your flight. Earlier this year, Emirates was ranked in the top 3 in an independent airline website benchmarking report by Catchpoint.
These awards are a testament to Emirates' ongoing commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences and maintaining its position as a leader in the global aviation industry.
